Careers

What matters to you, matters to us.

Professional Development
The Johnsson Group consultants complete annual Individual Development Plans that incorporate both current work and future career goals. Want to become certified in project management? Show us that you are a leader – and we can make it happen. Want to attend a personal development seminar or community event? Chances are, we can arrange it. In addition, you are guaranteed to learn a lot from a set of consultants with an average of 15 years of experience. Consulting isn’t your end career goal? That’s ok! We will help you make the most of your time in the business.

Culture and Community
The size of The Johnsson Group makes it easy to develop relationships with your colleagues at multiple company get-togethers throughout the year. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in various community volunteer projects that help to advance the Chicago community as well as your personal development and relationships. In addition, The Johnsson Group encourages a healthy lifestyle for all employees through various activities such as its recent Step Healthy! walking competition.

Communication
Periodic performance reviews and weekly status meetings ensure an open line of communication. A monthly company newsletter and frequent updates to the company intranet ensures that you are kept up-to-date on what’s happening, even while you are at a client site.

Work/Life Balance
While client environments vary, The Johnsson Group makes a genuine effort to keep you connected with what matters most – the business of life. Just ask a colleague that has recently returned from a two-week, paid (with spending money!) sabbatical.
