Job Description for CONSULTANT

Company Description:

The Johnsson Group (TJG) is a finance and business operations improvement consulting firm focused on helping clients design and implement sustainable solutions to achieve strategic goals and operational objectives. Drawing on a team of MBAs, CPAs and other business experts with experience in the corporate arena, TJG collaborates with clients to improve finance and accounting operations, enhance business performance, reduce business risk and facilitate data-driven decisions.

Position Overview:

The Consultant is responsible for developing workplans, providing updates to the client, conducting data gathering exercises, and documenting results. They will perform analytics related to project requirements, develop alternatives, and present recommendations. The Consultant is responsible for preparing reports for the clients and presenting findings. The Consultant is responsible for building client relationships and identifying project opportunities.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 8 years experience in finance and accounting
  2. Depth of experience with Fortune 500 organizations in multiple industries or a variety of functional roles
  3. Experience in project management
  4. Experience working in a team environment
  5. Excellent analytical skills
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project
  7. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  8. MBA and/or CPA preferred
  9. Consulting or Audit experience recommended
  10. Willingness to travel approximately 25%
