The BI&A team focuses on delivering business intelligence and performance management technology solutions, helping organizations develop a winning strategy for competing on analytics.

Position Overview:
The Managing Consultant is responsible for providing the day to day management of projects as well as hands-on functional/technical experience to financial and operational clients. The primary responsibilities of the Managing Consultant will include identifying business intelligence needs, project management, and project delivery support including Business Intelligence software selection and implementation, reporting and analytic design, test script identification/execution and change management planning and execution. The Managing Consultant will work with other TJG and client team members through the entire solution development and implementation lifecycle, including strategy, planning, configuration, design, build, conversion, training, go live, and post production support. In addition, the Managing Consultant must demonstrate the ability to manage the client/engagement relationship including the up-selling of products and services to existing clients. They must demonstrate the desire and willingness to learn new tools, techniques, concepts, and methodologies. The Managing Consultant expertise must also include a solid mix of implementation, project management and engagement management skills.
Managing Consultants have a target of 70% utilization, with the remainder of their time networking and selling to existing clients.

Qualifications:
- Experience with end-to-end business intelligence / data warehouse implementations using one or more of the following tools: Cognos; Business Objects; IBM / Ascential; Hyperion; SAP / OutlookSoft
- Ability to establish credibility in the eyes of senior-level, financially literate executives on the basis of expertise, maturity, and professionalism
- Proven client/engagement management experience; ability to recognize new selling opportunities with current clients and close on those opportunities
- Excellent time-management and prioritization skills
- Excellent analytical skills used to translate information from meetings into documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience facilitating group meetings and interview sessions
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and the interpersonal skills needed to quickly establish relationships of trust and collaboration
- MBA is a plus
- PMO certification is a plus
- Positive and professional attitude
- Willingness to travel approximately 25%.
