Chicago, IL July 5, 2007 - WMG Capital, a unit of Waterstone Group Holdings, LLC announces the acquisition of The Johnsson Group Inc., a professional consulting and interim staffing firm focused on finance and accounting services. The seller is Altran Technologies, S.A. Terms were not disclosed.
The Johnsson Group, headquartered in Chicago since 1991, serves Fortune 500 clients with finance and accounting consulting services focusing on three major service areas: Finance Process Improvement and Shared Services; Governance, Risk and Compliance; and Business Intelligence and Analytics.
Michael Wujciak, a Waterstone Partner, has been serving as the Managing Director and will continue in this role. “Everyone on the management team and the professional staff is excited about their future as The Johnsson Group returns to operating as a privately owned company. Collectively, we will continue our focus on superior customer service and growth of both our staffing and consulting services. We have already received a positive reaction from our clients regarding this transaction and we see opportunities to further expand our high value added services,” Wujciak said.
