Job Description for SENIOR CONSULTANT

Position Overview:

The Senior Consultant will serve as the Lead Consultant on team projects, demonstrating team and intellectual leadership skills by generating key ideas and conceptual frameworks that will guide research and analysis. The Senior Consultant will provide project-specific technical sales support and function as a strategic technical partner to the client. The Senior Consultant is responsible for creating workplans, establishing measures of success, tracking project hours against the proposal, and communicating project status to the Engagement Manager and client.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 10 years experience in finance and accounting
  2. 1-2 years experience as a Consultant
  3. Experience as a Lead Consultant on at least one project
  4. Consistent above average performance feedback on project work from both colleagues and clients
  5. Effective interaction with senior management
  6. Proven record of identifying scope expansions and new project opportunities
  7. Excellent analytical and interpretive skills
  8. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  9. MBA and/or CPA required
  10. Audit or internal controls experience required
  11. Willingness to travel approximately 25%
